Why metal suits the coast.
On the Sapphire Coast, salt air is the single biggest thing working against your roof. It corrodes the wrong grade of metal, eats through cheap fasteners, and breaks down valleys and flashings long before the sheets themselves give up. Colorbond and quality metal sheet, specified and fixed correctly for a coastal setting, shed water fast, shrug off salt-laden wind, and weigh a fraction of a tile roof.
We assess your roof first. If your existing sheets are sound and only the fixings or flashings have gone, we tell you that before we quote a full re-roof. Where the metal is past it, or where heavy tiles are stressing an older frame, a lightweight metal re-roof is often the better long-term call.

Upgrading tile to lightweight metal.
Heavy tile roofs put a lot of load on the frame, and on older Sapphire Coast homes that load adds up over the decades. Switching to a lightweight Colorbond or metal sheet roof takes weight off the structure, removes the cracked-tile and re-bedding headaches, and gives you a clean modern finish. We assess the existing frame and battens, advise on what the change involves for your home, and put it all in writing.
Colorbond colours and profiles.
We install the full Colorbond range, so you can match your existing roof or choose a fresh direction across the contemporary and classic colours. We help you pick a sheet profile that suits your roof pitch and the look you want, and a finish suited to your distance from the water. Colour and profile samples can be arranged on request.
